Comments from Laughter Participants:
I thought the workshop was extremely informative and well planned. I learned a lot and especially how to reduce stress and chronic pain.

“When you said, “Children laugh 400 times a day and adults only 15 times. I wanted you to know that I have not laughed as much as I did in this half hour in about twenty years. I just realized today that I have stopped laughing. It felt strange and foreign and really good, I can see I really need this”.
“Laughter doesn’t cure my heartache, but during those moments I was laughing, it didn’t hurt quite so bad, I forgot about it.”
In the beginning of a laughter presentation a very elderly gentleman yelled out as I was leading the group “What in the sam- blank is wrong with you? By the time we were done he was smiling the widest and yelled …..I like it! I like it! I like this!
“I enjoyed your program tremendously. My residents are still talking about it”.
“Deb, I really appreciate you allowing me to bring Hana (my doggy) to join us at laughter club in the park. Over the past couple of months, Hana just seemed to have lost her spark or zest for life. I was totally surprised when I heard her bark with such excitement. She hasn’t barked like that in quite awhile. All that laughter seems to have re-energized her and given her that spark that she have been missing”.
“She is excellent. I just have to get used to the idea”.
“You are the perfect fit to lead. It was great fun!”.
“When we were doing the laughter exercises I kept remembering things from my childhood that I loved. That has never happened to me before. It was amazing and amusing”.
“I love your soft eyes warm heart comment couldn’t we all use that in everything not just in laughter exercises!”
“I found the whole program to be fun and exciting”.
“After doing the laugher exercises with you I later kept noticing people busting out laughing and I was actually jealous as I knew how great they were feeling at that moment”.
