Deborah is a Certified Laughter Leader and a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader. In addition to The Laughter Company, Debbie is also the founder of the Davis Hysterical Society Laughter Club. and has earned credentials by all the leading training and certification sources within the industry.
In 2006 Deb studied with Steve Wilson, founder of the World Laughter Tour and earned the designation Certified Laughter Leader. Deb expanded her training on laughter as a stress reducing healing art with Jeffrey Briar, Director of the Laughter Yoga Institute of Laguna Beach. Deborah earned her certification as a Laughter Yoga Leader in 2007.
As founder and creator of the Laughter Company and the Davis Hysterical Society, Deb has lead weekly Laughter Club events at the Senior Center and International House in Davis, CA. She has also tailored Laughter Workshops for community open house events, senior retirement communities, and many other local organizations and businesses. These include: A Salon and Spa team building event, The Bo Tree Yoga Company of Davis, Out of Sight group, Rosewood Convalescent Hospital, The Institute For Restorative Health and the Yolano Chapter of Californians for Disabilities Rights.
Deborah teaches in her Laughter Workshops that laughter energizes your body and charges you with "happiness". Her Laughter Workshops provide a forum where simulated laughter creates stimulated laugher. Very soon participants find they are laughing more and having much more fun in their daily life.
